Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of ReadLock, a mobile app operated by Sadcos. By using the app, you agree to these terms and to Apple rules that apply to apps distributed through the App Store.

Use of the App

ReadLock helps you set reading goals, apply Screen Time restrictions to selected apps or categories, and unlock earned minutes after you complete a reading check. You are responsible for choosing appropriate settings and for keeping access to your Apple ID and device secure.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Paid features may be offered through auto-renewable subscriptions or other in-app purchases. Purchases are billed by Apple through your Apple ID. You can manage or cancel subscriptions from your Apple account settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with service operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use ReadLock in a way that violates law or another person's rights.

Screen Time Controls

ReadLock depends on Apple Screen Time and Family Controls permissions. Device settings, operating system changes, or revoked permissions may limit blocking behavior. ReadLock is a habit tool and does not guarantee that every distraction will be blocked in every circumstance.

Account Deletion

If account features are enabled, you may request deletion of your account and associated app data from inside the app when available or by contacting support. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, tax, or accounting reasons.

Disclaimer and Liability

ReadLock is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Sadcos disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
