Privacy Policy

ReadLock is built to help you trade distracting app time for reading time. This policy explains what information Sadcos collects, why it is used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you create an account or restore purchases, ReadLock may process account identifiers, authentication provider details, subscription status, and app settings such as reading goals, earned minutes, streaks, and selected lock preferences.

Apple Screen Time app and category selections are handled through Apple frameworks. ReadLock stores only the opaque selection tokens needed to apply the lock on your device; it does not receive a readable list of the apps you choose from Apple.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the product, sync your ReadLock setup, restore subscriptions, improve reliability, provide support, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Tracking

ReadLock does not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising, advertising measurement, or data broker sharing. We do not sell personal information.

Service Providers

ReadLock may use Firebase for authentication and cloud storage, RevenueCat for subscription management, and Apple services for App Store purchases and Screen Time controls. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Data Retention

We keep account and app data while your account is active or as needed for product, security, legal, and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated ReadLock data from inside the app when available, or by contacting support.

Your Choices

You can change selected apps, reading goals, and notification settings in the app. You can manage subscriptions from your Apple ID settings. You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where required by law.

Children

ReadLock is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information without required consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
